Ethan Klein / H3H3 vs Keemstar: Content Nuke, Sponsor Fallout and Long-Running YouTube Feud

The Ethan Klein-Keemstar feud developed over several years rather than beginning with Content Nuke. Keemstar was reported among creators who supported the Kleins' legal defense fund in 2016 and appeared as an H3 Podcast guest in 2017. The first clear public rupture followed the September 2017 PewDiePie controversy, when Ethan attacked Keemstar and Scarce during a drunken podcast rant and later apologized. Keemstar renewed criticism in 2018. The conflict escalated dramatically in April and May 2020 after Keemstar raised allegations about H3's Fair Use Protection Account and PAYDAY 2 DLC revenue. Ethan answered with Content Nuke, accusing Keemstar of a long pattern of false accusations, harassment, doxxing and harmful treatment of other creators, including discussion of Keemstar's past interactions with Etika. Keemstar disputed the framing, accused Ethan of removing context and hypocrisy, and issued two major response videos. No public material reviewed establishes that Keemstar caused Etika's death, and no filed Keemstar-versus-Klein lawsuit was identified from the 2020 threat.
