iDubbbz vs RiceGum: Content Cop, Diss Tracks and the Failed Boxing Match

The feud began publicly in September 2016 when RiceGum invited iDubbbz to make a Content Cop episode about him and said he would answer with a diss track. More than a year later, on October 3, 2017, iDubbbz released a Content Cop deceptively titled Content Cop - Jake Paul that was actually a lengthy critique of RiceGum. The episode attacked RiceGum's online persona and revisited past clips involving sexual comments, a rape joke, giveaways, wealth-flexing and other controversies. iDubbbz simultaneously released the diss track Asian Jake Paul with Boyinaband. RiceGum answered with an immediate reaction, a 22-minute rebuttal and the diss track Frick Da Police, while criticizing iDubbbz's own use of racist and homophobic slurs and arguing that older RiceGum clips had been presented without sufficient context. iDubbbz then released Content Deputy - AJP and said it would be his final response. The direct video war largely ended in October 2017, but the rivalry resurfaced as a proposed boxing match. RiceGum publicly challenged iDubbbz to box in 2018. In 2021, iDubbbz said RiceGum had renewed the challenge through his wife Anisa, but that negotiations collapsed when RiceGum sought a larger payment and ultimately declined. iDubbbz's attempt to preserve the boxing project evolved into the charity event Creator Clash, making the failed RiceGum bout a significant later consequence of the original feud.
