iDubbbz vs LeafyIsHere: Content Cop, Bullying Criticism and 2020 Revival
The iDubbbz-LeafyIsHere feud was rooted in a wider 2016 backlash against Leafy’s commentary style. In March 2016, Leafy removed a video about TommyNC2010 after Tommy said he was autistic and had received death threats from Leafy’s viewers. H3H3 then accused Leafy of bullying vulnerable or smaller creators and enabling mob harassment, and Leafy apologized. iDubbbz made Leafy a recurring no-chin target in the Content Cop narrative before releasing Content Cop - Leafy on September 12, 2016. The episode accused Leafy of repetitive bullying content and refusing responsibility for audience harassment, while also heavily mocking Leafy’s physical appearance and alleged insecurity about his chin. Leafy responded on September 16, and iDubbbz released Content Deputy - Leafy Response on September 19. Leafy’s audience and viewership declined over the following period, but later claims that iDubbbz single-handedly ended Leafy’s career are not supported by Leafy’s own explanation: in 2018 he attributed his 2017 hiatus to accumulated burnout, monetization, censorship and platform changes rather than one event. In December 2019 YouTube removed Content Cop - Leafy under its updated harassment policy. Leafy returned to YouTube on March 31, 2020 by briefly insulting iDubbbz over the Anisa Jomha OnlyFans controversy. Leafy’s own channel was permanently terminated in August 2020 for repeated harassment-policy violations. In May 2023 iDubbbz broadly repudiated the cruelty and harassment culture associated with his older Content Cop work and unlisted the series. No later substantive direct iDubbbz-Leafy exchange was identified through August 2026.
iDubbbz vs RiceGum: Content Cop, Diss Tracks and the Failed Boxing Match
The feud began publicly in September 2016 when RiceGum invited iDubbbz to make a Content Cop episode about him and said he would answer with a diss track. More than a year later, on October 3, 2017, iDubbbz released a Content Cop deceptively titled Content Cop - Jake Paul that was actually a lengthy critique of RiceGum. The episode attacked RiceGum's online persona and revisited past clips involving sexual comments, a rape joke, giveaways, wealth-flexing and other controversies. iDubbbz simultaneously released the diss track Asian Jake Paul with Boyinaband. RiceGum answered with an immediate reaction, a 22-minute rebuttal and the diss track Frick Da Police, while criticizing iDubbbz's own use of racist and homophobic slurs and arguing that older RiceGum clips had been presented without sufficient context. iDubbbz then released Content Deputy - AJP and said it would be his final response. The direct video war largely ended in October 2017, but the rivalry resurfaced as a proposed boxing match. RiceGum publicly challenged iDubbbz to box in 2018. In 2021, iDubbbz said RiceGum had renewed the challenge through his wife Anisa, but that negotiations collapsed when RiceGum sought a larger payment and ultimately declined. iDubbbz's attempt to preserve the boxing project evolved into the charity event Creator Clash, making the failed RiceGum bout a significant later consequence of the original feud.
Ethan Klein / H3H3 vs Keemstar: Content Nuke, Sponsor Fallout and Long-Running YouTube Feud
The Ethan Klein-Keemstar feud developed over several years rather than beginning with Content Nuke. Keemstar was reported among creators who supported the Kleins' legal defense fund in 2016 and appeared as an H3 Podcast guest in 2017. The first clear public rupture followed the September 2017 PewDiePie controversy, when Ethan attacked Keemstar and Scarce during a drunken podcast rant and later apologized. Keemstar renewed criticism in 2018. The conflict escalated dramatically in April and May 2020 after Keemstar raised allegations about H3's Fair Use Protection Account and PAYDAY 2 DLC revenue. Ethan answered with Content Nuke, accusing Keemstar of a long pattern of false accusations, harassment, doxxing and harmful treatment of other creators, including discussion of Keemstar's past interactions with Etika. Keemstar disputed the framing, accused Ethan of removing context and hypocrisy, and issued two major response videos. The dispute then expanded into sponsor pressure, with Keemstar's G Fuel relationship ending and Old Spice reportedly ending its H3 sponsorship amid retaliatory campaigns. Later stages included Keemstar threatening legal action in 2020, H3 receiving a YouTube harassment-policy strike after mocking Keemstar's relationship age gap in 2021, continued podcast attacks and counter-attacks, and disputes involving Teddy Fresh in 2022. H3 continued discussing Keemstar in later content through at least 2025. No public material reviewed establishes that Keemstar caused Etika's death, and no filed Keemstar-versus-Klein lawsuit was identified from the 2020 threat.
Tfue vs FaZe Clan: contract dispute and lawsuits
Tfue signed a Gamer Agreement with FaZe Clan on April 27, 2018. By fall 2018, his side was already arguing that the agreement could not automatically renew and was attempting to change or end the contractual relationship. On May 15, 2019, Tfue filed a petition with the California Labor Commissioner under the Talent Agencies Act, and on May 20 he sued FaZe Clan in Los Angeles Superior Court. He alleged that the contract contained excessively restrictive provisions, allowed FaZe to collect large percentages of certain commercial revenue, interfered with independent sponsorship opportunities, and that the organization had acted as an unlicensed talent agency. FaZe rejected Tfue's account, said it had actually received only about $60,000 from brand deals it had arranged, and stated that it had taken none of his tournament, Twitch, or YouTube revenue. After the public ReleaseTheContract campaign, a copy of the Gamer Agreement was published by the press. In August 2019, FaZe filed a separate federal lawsuit in New York accusing Tfue of breach of contract and related conduct. Proceedings continued across multiple jurisdictions into 2020. The parties settled all disputes in August 2020 without a trial on the central mutual allegations and without public disclosure of the settlement terms. Public personal interaction between Tfue and Banks resumed before the settlement, and in 2024 and 2025 Tfue, Banks, and FaZe again publicly joked about and discussed the old dispute.
