Mukbang and ASMR creator who participated in collaborative filming with Stephanie Soo and Nikocado Avocado. After Nikocado published his response, Choi publicly said that he had not authorized the use of part of their private messages and supported Soo's account on several points.
Stephanie Soo vs Nikocado Avocado: Manipulation Allegations and Video Responses
The conflict emerged after collaborative filming involving Stephanie Soo, Nikocado Avocado, and Zach Choi in December 2019. Soo alleged that Nikocado tried to pressure her into publicly discussing her conflict with Veronica Wang, continued pushing the subject after she expressed discomfort, used public hints and messages after she canceled another collaboration, and photographed areas of her home without clearly established permission. Nikocado disputed key parts of Soo's interpretation, accused her of removing context, and presented messages and photographs to support his version. Soo then released a detailed rebuttal to his response. In 2021, Nikocado told MEL Magazine that the feud had been orchestrated to benefit both of their careers. In a new 2025 video, however, he described the situation differently: he acknowledged that his pressure, angry messages, and behavior in Soo's home were wrong and apologized, while also accusing Soo of intentionally dramatizing and exaggerating the situation. These later statements by Nikocado create a significant unresolved contradiction.
