Jake Paul vs FaZe Banks: Warwick Assault Allegation, Counterclaims and Reconciliation

The conflict erupted in August 2017 after Team 10 assistant Meg Zelly said FaZe Banks injured her at the Warwick nightclub in Los Angeles. Jake Paul, who was not present for the alleged incident, published her account and presented Banks as a potential danger to others. Banks denied intentional assault, argued that Team 10 had changed the framing from an accidental encounter to a deliberate attack, and threatened defamation litigation. His response expanded the dispute by featuring Jake Paul's former partner Alissa Violet, who made separate allegations about Jake's past behavior. Former Team 10 member Max Beaumont later said he did not witness Banks assault anyone and believed any contact with Meg was accidental. LAPD confirmed that a battery allegation was reported and investigated, but the reviewed public record does not establish a criminal finding against Banks or a filed defamation case by Banks against Paul.
