After Dr Disrespect was permanently banned from Twitch in June 2020, the reason was not publicly disclosed. In June 2024, former Twitch employees linked the ban to Whispers with a minor; Beahm confirmed the correspondence but disputed more serious characterizations. Midnight Society cut ties with him and shut down in January 2025.
