Santos Salazar: attempted-murder arrest, release and continuing investigation
In August 2026, influencer Santos Salazar was arrested by Los Angeles police following a reported domestic violence incident and booked on suspicion of attempted murder. His bail was set at $1 million. Brianna Olsen and Salazar's attorney publicly challenged the severity of the allegation. Salazar was released on August 17 after the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office did not file charges at that stage. On August 20, the District Attorney's Office said the matter had been referred back to law enforcement for further investigation.
