Pokimane vs JiDion: hate raid, Twitch ban and reconciliation

In January 2022, JiDion directed his audience into Pokimane's Twitch chat during a livestream and encouraged viewers to spam messages. Some viewers continued interacting with Pokimane and members of her audience beyond the original spam, after which Pokimane ended her stream early. Twitch initially suspended JiDion for 14 days and later changed the suspension to an indefinite ban. JiDion initially continued publicly reacting to the dispute and challenged the severity of the permanent suspension, then apologized, asked his audience to stop targeting Pokimane, and met with her. In February 2022, they released collaborative material and publicly described their reconciliation. The consequences of JiDion's Twitch ban continued until May 2024, when his account was restored. After the reconciliation, additional public materials appeared in which the two creators mentioned each other or published content involving the other.
